If the bass is the motion of music, then the lyrics and vocal component provide the life and message of it. Try to imagine listening to music without someone singing the lyrics! While some songs and styles of music sound great without words, there is a large avenue of music which requires them.

Getting ahold of one's voice isn't always easy, though. Most people struggle at first to understand the simple yet complicated inner workings of their breathing and air release systems. Truly singing on key, on pace, at the correct volume, and seamlessly into the next measure can be quite a task.

That's why we offer introductory vocal instruction at Guitar Instincts. There are some basic principles which, when followed, can unleash a beautiful voice that has been imprisoned. We will push you in the right direction towards finding your voice and letting the world hear it--beautifully.
